Brace 24 takes place this Friday night at the Australian Institute of Sport Arena in Canberra.
As previously announced, the main event will see undefeated Sydney fighters Martin Nguyen (6-0, pictured) and Luke Standing (5-0) face off for the promotion’s featherweight title.
Gracie Central Coast lightweight Jacob Pettett and Canadian veteran Kevin Manderson will both be eager to rebound from losses when they meet in the co-main event.
Pettett is coming off defeats against two of the country’s top fighters in Oriol Gasat and Rob Lisita, while Manderson’s first fight back on Aussie soil in ten months lasted just 26 seconds against Gokhan Turkyilmaz at Brace 23.
Canberra fighter Craig Bath, fighting out of the City’s Synergy Self Defense & Fitness gym, will be looking to emulate his pro debut at Brace 21 where he knocked out Adam Washbourne in 25 seconds. Bath is set to face Dimitar Dimitrovski at welterweight.
In a recent change to the card, Sydney’s Adam Corbett steps in to fight Jeshua McPhail after JJ Van Aswegen was forced off through injury. Van Aswegen, who submitted Corbett at Brace 22, will be out of competition for three months after suffering a concussion in training. The fight will be contested at featherweight.
Unfortunately plans to live stream Brace 24 have been scrapped.
