Gold Coast fighter Garrett Gross takes on Jesse Medina in the main event of Eternal MMA 9 tonight.
The event is happening at the Coolangatta Hotel on the Gold Coast.
Gross comes into the fight with an impressive first-round submission over Brett Jacobsen back at Eternal MMA 7 in September. The Shindo New Breed trained fighter also has notable wins over David Meak and Fabian Nemcek.
Medina trains out of Mildura Martial Arts and will be making his promotional debut. Medina is coming into the fight having last competed back in November on the Valor 9 card where he submitted Dillan Wolf with a third-round kneebar. Medina lost via a decision to the highly regarded Myles Simpson back in 2013.
Also on the card, Dane Snell battles Brett Jacobsen. Snell last night failed to make weight by a large margin however an agreement was made between the parties that allows the fight to go ahead as long as Snell weighs in under an agreed weight at 5pm tonight.
