Gold Coast based featherweight Megan Anderson (4-1) is the latest Australian fighter to join the all-women’s Invicta FC roster.
Anderson is currently on a four-fight win streak with her two most recent victories coming by submission. In her last bout this past December, the 25 year-old defeated Zoie Shreiweis to take home the Roshambo featherweight title, and avenge her sole career loss that she suffered to Shreiweis in her pro debut back in late 2013.
The news comes not long after it was revealed that the Aussie had signed with American based MMA management company Posterboy Fighters. There’s no word at this stage on when she will make her Invicta FC debut.
Other Australian fighters who have inked contracts with the promotion include Bec Rawlings, Alex Chambers, Fiona Muxlow and most recently, Jessy Rose-Clark.
