Hector Lombard’s first fight back at middleweight will be against UFC veteran Dan Henderson.
Henderson was booked to fight Lyoto Machida this weekend in Tampa but the bout was cancelled following Machida testing positive to a banned substance.
Less than 24 hours later and Hendo picked up a new opponent in Lombard who has made the move back to middleweight following his loss to Neil Magny at UFC Brisbane.
Lombard has a professional record of 34-5 and was stopped for the first time in his career against Magny. Henderson is currently 31-14 and is coming off of a loss against Vitor Belfort in November last year.
With two knock out artists on display, in a must win fight for both, this match-up will no doubt be an exciting stand up battle.
UFC 199 goes down on June 4 (ET) at The Forum in Los Angeles, California and is headlined by a middleweight title fight between Luke Rockhold and Chris Weidman on Pay-Per-View.
