Following a decision loss earlier this month at Eternal 70, Semakadde Kakembo will be looking at getting back on track when he faces Ernie Braca at Hex Fight Series 24.
At Eternal 70, Kakembo had his opponent Colby Thicknesse in trouble in the first round but let his opponent back in the contest and ultimately lost via decision. It was his first loss in the pro ranks after previously knocking off four wins on the trot.
Travelling from the Philippines, Brace brings a mixed 4-4 record however hasn’t competed since the first-round stoppage in 2019. It’s his second fight internationally, having successfully competed on a Brazilian card back in 2017.
The card is headlined by a HEX heavyweight title fight with former UFC heavyweight Benjamin Sosoli returning to action against Randall Rayment.
The card will take place at the Melbourne Pavillion on November 18.
