Melbourne’s Hex Fight Series has announced a partnership with NSW based promotions Urban Fight Night and Wollongong Wars.
According to a Hex FS post on social media, the partnership will “give fighters a direct path to Hex Fight Series which will allow them to receive recognition and exposure on the biggest MMA promotion in Australia.”
Urban Fight Night released the following statement regarding the new affiliation.
“UFN are proud to announce their official partnership with the major MMA brand in Australia Hex Fight Series. Hex Fight Series matchmaker and promotional team will be at our August 12th show and will look to scout the nation’s top talents from amateurs to professionals that are under our banner.
“This partnership will be HUGE for the up and coming fighters knowing their links between the shows can constantly keep them active and well looked after.”
A regular at the Melbourne Pavilion since 2014, Hex Fight Series held its tenth and debut interstate event late last month, crowning their first welterweight champion in Perth.
Urban Fight Night has held 11 events since its inception back in 2014 with the next offering from the Sydney based promotion slated for August 12 at the Whitlam Leisure Centre.
Wollongong Wars is based in Thirroul on the NSW coast between Sydney and Wollongong. The promotion has held four events with the last one taking place just over 12 months ago.
