A week out from UFC 243 in Melbourne, the fight card has taken a hit.
Former bantamweight champion Holly Holm has been forced to withdraw from her match up against Raquel Pennington, according to a report from ESPN’s Ariel Helwani.

The nature of the injury is unknown and it remains to be seen whether Pennington will remain on the card.
Holm scored her greatest ever victory at the same stadium that will host UFC 243 against Ronda Rousey back in 2015. The fight against Pennington would have been the second time the two fought after Holm defeated her by spilt decision at UFC 184 that same year.
UFC 243 is scheduled to be headlined by Robert Whittaker vs. Israel Adesanya for the UFC middleweight title.
