With Pay-Per-View (PPV) points likely on the line for both Jeff Horn and Robert Whittaker, they could both ultimately be the losers as their upcoming blockbuster bouts will go head-to-head in what is a first in Australian Pay-Per-View.
Horn is scheduled to defend his World Boxing Organisation welterweight title in Las Vegas against the highly regarded and undefeated Terence Crawford while Whittaker, UFC middleweight champion, will put his belt on the line as he rematches Yoel Romero at UFC 225 in Chicago.
Compatriots Tai Tuivasa and Megan Anderson are also both scheduled to compete on the UFC card.
Due to the clash, a special channel will pop-up on Channel 507 to accomodate the boxing fight with the PPV listed as $49.95 and will start at 10am AEST. The bout will not be available on channel 507 via the Foxtel App and Foxtel Now.
Whittaker vs Romero II will begin at 12pm AEST on the usual Mainevent PPV channel for the price of $54.95.
For those wanting to catch both, it might be better off heading to the local sports bar or pub that’s showing both contests.
