New Zealand born featherweight Janay Harding will return back to the Bellator cage in May when she faces SBG trained Leah McCourt.
The bout will feature on the main card of Bellator London card scheduled for SSE Arena on 17 May (AEST).
A former Karate practitioner, ‘Hollowpoint’ Harding lost in her last Bellator outing back in November, succumbing to Amanda Bell and will be eager to remain within the upper echelon of the promotions featherweight division, currently dominated by Cris Cyborg. Harding holds a 5-4 (Bellator 2-2) professional MMA record.
It will be a quick turnaround for McCourt who just last month, springboarded to a headline appearance at Bellator 240 following the late cancellation of the previous main event bout. The 27-year-old rose to the occasion to walk away with a unanimous decision victory which took her record to 5-1 (Bellator 3-0).
The Bellator London card will be headlined by James Gallagher taking on Cal Ellenor.
