Jeff Horn will look to defend his WBO world welterweight title this weekend as he locks horns with Terence Crawford.
The card will take place at the MGM Grand on Saturday night and Mainevent Australia will broadcast it live on pay-per-view from 10am. Due to a clash with UFC 225, the Horn vs Crawford fight will be on Channel 507.
The event will cost $49.95 to view.
It’s the first time that a boxing pay-per-view fight has gone head-to-head with a UFC pay-per-view on Australian televisions and what makes it even more interesting is that both events are being headlined by an Australian.
A 2012 Olympian, Horn (18-0, 1 draw) fights outside of Australia and New Zealand for the first time since his amateur days as he defends his WBO world welterweight title for the second time. Horn famously captured the belt last July with a shock win over Manny Pacquiao.
Fighting Crawford (32-0) became the undisputed super-lightweight title and has since vacated the titles to move to welterweight for the bout with Horn.
The American boxer comes into the fight as the hot favourite with Crawford paying 1.10 and Jeff Horn 5.50 on an Australian bookmaker.
