Jessica-Rose Clark’s UFC return did not go as planned.
Taking on Pannie Kianzad, Clark lost a unanimous decision, going down 30-27 on all three of the judges’ scorecards.
The fight was a rematch of their first encounter which took place under the Invicta FC banner back in 2015. Kianzad also won that fight by unanimous decision.

The fight was Clark’s first in 18 months after a foot injury had kept her out of the cage. Clark also switched gyms and returned to bantamweight after suffering failed weight cuts.
Definitely wasn’t how this trip was supposed to go 😅
I asked for this fight, across the world, new weight division, coming off injury, against someone I’ve lost to before, and whilst it may not have paid off in the win column, i still love my job. Thanks all ❤️🏴☠️🦖 pic.twitter.com/1yAOIeCsda— Jessy Jess (@missjessyjess) November 10, 2019
The loss is Clark’s second in a row after losing to Jessica Eye in June of last year.
