Megan Anderson notched up yet another exciting first round victory after finishing Peggy Morgan in a devastating fashion.
The Aussie, who trains out of Glory MMA in Missouri, used her brute strength and pinpoint accuracy to pick apart Morgan, dropping heavy shots that saw the TUF veteran on the back foot straight out of the gate. Despite only having been in the sport for three short years, Anderson has made a name for herself not only as the top prospect in the featherweight division but also as a fan favourite in the promotion.
Naturally talk is starting to swirl around a possible match-up between current champion Cris Cyborg and the rising star. Anderson, never one to shy away from a challenge, told Laura Sanko after the fight that she is “ready for anyone.”
Also on the Invicta FC 18 Card, Alexa Grasso made a triumphant return after a long lay off from injury defeating TUF 23 competitor Jodie Esquibel via unanimous decision whilst Aspen Ladd continued her tear on the bantamweight division notching up her fourth consecutive win to remain undefeated.
Invicta FC 18 took place in Kansas City, Kansas with the fights broadcast live on UFC Fight Pass.
