Megan Anderson has her next Invicta FC assignment with the Aussie featherweight set to face Canadian Charmaine Tweet at Invicta FC 21, the promotion announced yesterday during the Invicta FC 20 broadcast. Invicta FC 21 takes place on January 14 in Kansas City.
Anderson (7-2) will be looking to make it four wins in a row at the event and continue her title fight push. Currently based at Glory MMA in Missouri, the 26 year-old is coming off three impressive TKO wins stopping Amber Leibrock, Amanda Bell and most recently Peggy Morgan at Invicta FC 18.
Like Anderson, Tweet (9-5) has also won three straight under the Invicta FC banner, with her most recent victory coming via first round knockout against Latoya Walker in May. The 39 year-old’s last defeat came at the hands of Cyborg back in early 2015.
