Sydney-based Mohammad ‘Scarface’ Alavi kept his record unblemished with a first-round stoppage over Brazilian veteran Rodolfo Marques.
Alavi wasted no time, stopping Marques with a series of punches against the cage, forcing the referee to step in, only 2:16 into the contest.
With the win, Alavi moves to a perfect 7-0 while Marques drops to 25-16-1.
The bout headlined the Hex Fight Series – Lockdown 2 which place at the Melbourne Pavilion on Friday, 19 November, and was broadcast live via Fite.tv
In the co-main event, Jesse Medina rebounded with a decision victory over Lukaz Catubig while earlier, Michael Barber secured the biggest win of his career with a win over former Eternal champion Sam Hibberd by decision.
