Hafizovic trains out of the ATT gym in Western Sydney and has one pro fight under her belt, that being a first round submission win against Meg Gallagher in the Hex Fight Series promotion (video below). AKA “The Wandera”, Hafizovic set the foundations in the amateur ranks going 3-1 on the regional circuit.
The Aussie will make her promotional debut on the upcoming “Hero’s Dream” event which is set to take place Nov. 3 in Yangon, Myanmar, FNA can reveal. Hafizovic, who will be fighting in the promotion’s strawweight division, will square off with China’s jie Miao, whose pro record currently stands at 1-1. Miao made her One debut just last month in Shanghai where she submitted Mona Samir in the opening round.
One Championship: Hero’s Dream will be headlined by an open weight bout between One middleweight world champion Aung La N Sang and Alain Ngalani.
Hex #6 featured it’s first female bout, with Amira Hafizovic taking the victory in Round 1 via submission.
