Integrated MMA fighter Adrian Pang makes his long awaited return to the cage tomorrow when he faces Vincent Latoel. They will clash on the Dynasty of Champions event which takes place at the Gymnasium of National Olympic Sports Centre in Beijing.
Earlier on today, both fighters made weight for the lightweight clash as 37 year-old Pang tipped the scale at 70.3 kgs (155 lbs), while his opponent Latoel came in slightly lighter at an even 70kgs (154 lbs).
It will be only Pang’s second fight since an unfortunate nightclub incident left him fighting for his career back in 2012. On his return in June 2013, Pang stopped Jai Bradney to take his record to 20-8-2. The former Legend Fighting Championships lightweight champion will be looking at making a claim at a title shot against current One FC champion Shinya Aoki.
First though he needs to get past fellow veteran in Golden Glory trained Vincent Latoel (15-15-1). A veteran since 2001, Latoel has fought around the world and has spends his time training at the acclaimed Golden Glory gym. His last four fights have all occurred in Asia’s One Fighting Championship promotion where his gone 2-2, most recently losing out to Caros Fodor back in September.
The event will be headlined by an all Chinese bantamweight fight between Ji Xian and Song Ya Dong. Both made weight with Xian weighing in at 60.8 kgs (134 lbs), while Dong weighed in at 61 kgs (134 lbs).
