Last minute negotiations have paid off for Combat8 with the promotion announcing that the Lightweight clash between Ben Wall and Bernardo ‘Trekko’ Magalhaes is back on for tonight.
News first emerged last night following the weigh-ins that the fight was scrapped due to registration issues involving Ben Wall. Smarter heads prevailed as the Combat Sports Authority for New South Wales confirming to the promotion earlier that Wall was given more time to gather his serology and registration documents.
It paid off only hours before the two were scheduled to fight as confirmation was released advising that the the Combat Sports Authority cleared Ben Wall to participate following a last minute run-around. Ben Wall confirmed the news via social media.
