After an impressive run through the local Australian and Asian scene, featherweight fighter Robert Lisita (13-5) has earned himself a rematch against former Legend FC featherweight title holder Yusuke Kawanago.
The fight will take place on One FC 15 which will be held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines on May 2.
The fight will be a rematch of their Legend FC 10 bout which the Japanese fighter won via unanimous decision. The loss has been Lisita’s only one in his last seven bouts with Lisita winning his last three all by stoppages including against the likes of Rodolfo Marques and most recently Lisita became the first fighter to submit Takeshi Inoue in December. Following that win, Lisita signed with One FC and this will be his promotional debut.
31 year-old Kawanago remained inactive in the whole 2013, only to return back to action last month where the bout between him and Hiroyuki Oshiro was deemed a draw at Pancrase 256. Kawanago will bring a 13-3, 2 draws record into the fight and will also be making his One FC debut.
The event will be headlined by One FC bantamweight champion Bibiano Fernandez who will be putting his title on the line as he goes to battle with Japanese contender Masakatsu Ueda.
Also announced for the card is a fight between Gianni Subba and local fighter Eugene Toquero.
