All 22 competitors successfully made weight for UFC 170, which included Australian TUF Smashes winner Robert Whittaker (pictured). The weigh-ins took place at the Mandalay Bay Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, which will also be the venue for the event.
The event will be headlined by UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda “Rowdy” Rousey (8-0, UFC 2-0) who is making a quick return to the Octagon after last fighting back at UFC 168 in December.
Rousey will face fellow undefeated fighter Sara McMann (7-0, UFC 1-0). McMann is a freestyle wrestling silver medallist from the 2004 Athens Olympics while Rousey won a bronze medal in Judo at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. It will be the first time that two Olympic medalist have clashed in the UFC.
