A trio of pro fights topped the fifth pro-am offering from Superfight earlier this month in Western Sydney.
Taking place September 15 at Club Punchbowl, the main event saw PMA trained Mohammad Alavi get his pro career underway in style, submitting local MMA veteran Josh Payne (8-8) in the very first round with a rear-naked choke.
Also training out of the PMA gym in Sydney, welterweight Saeid Fatahifar outpointed tough Kiwi Beau Rawiri in the co-main event.
The other pro fight from the night saw Lion’s Den product George Malizis take home a unanimous decision against Andrew Youssef.
