Tai ‘Bam Bam’ Tuivasa has, unfortunately, come up short in his fight against the #5 ranked
heavyweight Sergei Pavlovich.
Pavlovich secured the win within 54 seconds of the first round by KO/TKO.

Tuivasa started off the round by feeling out his opponent until Pavlovich started throwing a flurry of
punches and knocking down the Aussie, forcing him to cover up and have his back to the
fence.
Tuivasa quickly responded by throwing wild haymakers in the hopes of scoring a
knockdown with his one-punch KO power that he is known for. Despite the
Aussie’s attempts, the Russian defended and landed clean combinations of his own, forcing
Tuivasa to shell up before the referee stopped the fight.
The loss is Tuivasa’s second straight KO loss in a row after being finished by Ciryl Gane this past September. The loss brings his professional record to 14-5.
