Sydney bantamweight Thanh Vu (5-2) will return to the One FC cage against unbeaten South Korean Dae Hwan Kim (8-0-1) in December.
Vu will meet Kim at the One FC 13: Moment of Truth event on December 6, which will take place at the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines.
This fight will be Vu’s third in the promotion, in which his record stands at 1-1. The 21 year-old Martial Arts Development product will be looking to bounce back after suffering a TKO loss to Filipino standout Kevin Belingon in the semi-final stages of the promotion’s bantamweight tournament at One FC 8. The defeat followed his dominant promotional debut at One FC 7, where he stopped Mohd Fouzein with strikes in just 63 seconds.
Vu is currently training in Hawaii ahead of the clash.
Dae Hwan Kim is the bantamweight champion for Korea’s KAMMA and DMMF promotions and will take an impressive 8-0-1 record into what will be his debut appearance in One FC.
One FC 13 will be headlined by a featherweight title fight rematch between Koji Oishi and Honorio Banario. Banario will be looking to even the score, and reclaim his crown, after falling to the Japanese fighter at One FC 9 in May.
