Australian bantamweight Trent Girdham is set to return to UAE Warriors when he will face Georgian fighter Dimitri Bolkvadze at UAE Warriors 46 on January 20th.
Girdham last fought for UAE Warriors in 2019, where he picked up a TKO victory over Jayson Margallo in the second round at UAE Warriors 9. Following this bout, Girdham began exclusively fighting MMA for Japanese promotion RIZIN and shifted his focus to his boxing career.
Girdham returned to MMA in 2023, where he went 1-1, both fights ending in a submission. His overall MMA record reads 13-5. Prior to leaving the company, Girdham went 3-0 in the promotion, all his fights ending by stoppage.
Bolkvadze is entering this bout on a four-fight win streak, all stoppage wins. Bolkvadze’s MMA record is 7-1, and this will be his promotional debut for UAE Warriors.
UAE Warriors will broadcast live on the UFC Fight Pass on January 20th.
