Dylan Andrews will face Ultimate Fighter 17 cast mate Jimmy Quinlan at the series finale this Sunday (April 14).
The completed lineup for the FX-televised show was revealed earlier today following the broadcast of the final taped episode, in which the Gold Coast based Kiwi was defeated by Uriah Hall in the semifinals.
The loss was Andrew’s first on the show after defeating Zac Cummings and Luke Barnatt in previous episodes, while Jimmy Quinlan went 1-1 in his endeavor to be the next Ultimate Fighter, with a win over Clint Hester followed by a loss to Josh Samman.
It was another dominant display from Uriah Hall who stopped Andrews with ground and pound in the second frame. In a battle of team Sonnen picks, the New York knockout artist will now lock horns with Kevin Gastelum — who submitted Josh Samman in the other semifinal — to decide the season’s winner.
Eleven cast members are scheduled to appear on the card, which will be headlined by a bantamweight clash between Urijah Faber and Scott Jorgensen. Also on the card, Miesha Tate and Cat Zingano will face off for the right to coach opposite Rounda Rousey in The Ultimate Fighter 18.
The show will be held at The Mandalay Bay Events Centre in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
