More information has been released in regards to the next international version of The Ultimate Fighter series which is set to feature a team from Australia coached by Kyle Noke taking on a team from Canada coached by Patrick Cote.
For fighters interested in participating in the series, the tryouts will be held in Sydney on Wednesday, September 11 at a venue to be announced shortly. This will be followed by the Canadian tryouts on Sunday, September 22 scheduled at the Westin Harbour Castle in Toronto, Canada. Both are set to begin at 8am local time.
The promotion has listed pre-requirements which must be met before eligible fighters can register. The requirements include:
- Candidates must be between the age of 18 and 35 years.
- Fighters must be in either the welterweight (170lbs) or middleweight (185lbs) weight class.
- Fighters must have a minimum of three professional mixed martial arts (MMA) bouts and hold a winning record. Sherdog.com & mixedmartialarts.com will be used to verify records.
- Fighters must hold a valid Canadian or Australian passport
- Fighters who have competed on a previous version of The Ultimate Fighter or who have previously fought in the UFC are ineligible.

Kyle Noke and Patrick Cote are set to face-off at the conclusion of the season. The event will be broadcast in Australia on FX and is set to debut in early 2014.
