Sydney based Tyson Pedro gets the biggest opponent of his career, with the 25-year-old confirmed to be facing Ilir Latifi at UFC 215 on September 9 (September 10 in Australia).

Latifi brings a 12-5 (UFC 5-3) record into the bout and last competed back in September, where the Swedish born 33-year-old was knocked out by Ryan Bader. Prior to that, Latifi had won three on the trot, includins wins against both Sean O’Connell and Gian Villante.
Pedro is currently as the number 12 contender in the UFC light-heavyweight rankings, with Latifi three spots ahead of him in number nine.
UFC 215 will take place at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Canada with a Francis Ngannou and Junior Dos Santos heavyweight contest also confirmed for the event.
