The heavyweight UFC title goes on the line this weekend with former training partners Francis Ngannou and Cyril Gane meeting in the main event of UFC 270.
Ngannou (16-3) has had quite a run, defeating Curtis Blaydes, Cain Velasquez, Junior dos Santos, and Jairzinho Rozenstruik before finally capturing the UFC gold with a knock-out against Stipe Miocic. Standing on the other side of the cage will be 31-year-old Gane (10-0) who has yet to taste defeat in his pro career. His last four wins have come against Junior dos Santos, Jairzinho Rozenstruik, Alexander Volkov, and most recently against Derrick Lewis.
It’s the challenger that comes into the bout the favourite, paying 1.69 for the win according to Unibet; compared to Ngannou who is at 2.20 at the time of publishing.
A flyweight title bout between champion Brandon Moreno (19-5-2) and Deiveson Figueiredo (20-2-1), will also feature on the card.
