Former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley will step inside the Octagon for the first in over a year ago when he meets Gilbert Burns this Sunday.
Woodley has not fought since he lost the welterweight strap to Kamaru Usman and will be looking for a big win over Burns as he looks to secure a rematch with the new champion.
Burns has won 5 straight including huge first-round TKO win over Damian Maia in Brazil this past March.

What are the odds for Tyron Woodley vs. Gilbert Burns?
According to Sports Betting Dime former welterweight champ Tyron Woodley opened as a modest $1.62 favorite over Gilbert Burns, but the early action has shortened the odds to roughly $1.50. Sharps give Woodley a distinct edge over the surging Burns, who spent most of his career at lightweight.
A former All-American wrestler, Woodley should be able to neutralize Burns’ jiu-jitsu advantage by keeping the fight upright, if he so chooses. Woodley will likely be the stronger fighter, as well, limiting Burns’ ability to maintain an effective Muay-Thai clinch. While Burns is riding a five-fight win streak, Woodley represents a big step up in terms of competition.
