For the first time in over three years, the UFC will return to Adelaide, South Australia after the promotion announced a Fight Night card on December 2. An initial report was featured in the Sunday Mail earlier today.
Much like the promotions last visit to the city where Stipe Miocic headlined against Mark Hunt, the event will take place at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre . That card, back in May 2015 also featured a breakout performance by Robert Whittaker who knocked-out Brad Tavares. Whittaker has gone on to win the UFC middleweight title and has this week been announced as coach on the next season of The Ultimate Fighter.
With the event only being announced, no fights have been confirmed for the card should expect that local stand-outs including Tyson Pedro, Tai Tuivasa, Jake Matthews and Alex Volkanovski likely to feature on the card.
