Tasmanian Rob Wilkinson has put pen to paper and signed with the UFC. The undefeated 25-year-old announced his signing via social media earlier today.
Since making his professional debut back in 2011, Wilkinson (11-0) has won all but one fight via stoppage en route to capturing both an Australian Fighting Championship title and a Brace tournament championship belt.
Formerly out of Hybrid Training Center, where he still visits to train, Wilkinson has based himself at the VT1 gym in Sydney for the last 12 months. He last competed back in October where he traveled to Finland and in a battle of undefeated fighters, submitted German Alexander Poppeck in the first round.
Wilkinson announced that the opponent and event he will debut on are expected to be confirmed soon.
