Urban Fight Night started their doubleheader of events this weekend with an all-amateur card on Friday night, headlined by a heavyweight title between Abraham Paku and Livingston Faimalie.
Faimalie came from behind in the second round and submitted Paku with a rear-naked choke to claim the amateur heavyweight title.
In his post-fight speech, Faimalie took the opportunity to respectfully call out Jack Alexander for his next. Alexander, a teammate of Paku, had won earlier in the night with a decision against Liufau Fonua.
The event took place at The Orion in Campsie, NSW, and was broadcast live on Fite TV.
Originally scheduled to headline the card was a professional bout between Darwin Sagurit and Michael Barber however according to Barber on social media, Sagurit had complications making weight and ended up in hospital, causing the fight to be cancelled.
