Brock Jarvis overcame a dangerous start to secure victory in his U.S debut on the weekend with a fifth-round stoppage over Mexican opponent Alejandro Frias. Disaster looked on the cards for the Aussie protege of Jeff Fenech after the 23-year-old Australian took a barrage of punches in the second round as he was on wobbly legs against the rope.
Jarvis recovered well and continued his high pace, ultimately delivering some heavy punches in the fifth round to get the stoppage.
