Okami fought Anderson Silva for the UFC middleweight title in 2011. He recently had a stint outside of the organisation before returning to the UFC in 2017 where he lost to Ovince St Preux at light-heavyweight before dropping down to welterweight and defeating Dhiego Lima. The fight against Alexey Kunchenko will be his 21st fight inside the UFC Octagon and will be competed at 77kgs (170lbs).
Kunchenko signed with the UFC earlier this year after winning 14 of his first 18 fights inside the distance. The unbeaten Kunchenko is the former M-1 Challenge welterweight champion and defeated UFC veteran Thiago Alves when he made his debut this past September.
UFC Adelaide takes place on December 2nd at the Adelaide Entertainment Center. Tickets to the event are now available.
