Episode two of The Ultimate Fighter – Australia vs Canada will go to air this Thursday and will feature the first middleweight battle inside the house as Australian BJJ Brown Zein Saliba takes on Elias Theodorou. Both fighters went into the fight undefeated in their professional careers with 25 year-old Saliba boasting a 5-0 record. Ontario based Theodorou comes into the fight with an unblemished 8-0 record.
A man of few words Saliba said: “I’m not entirely sure how his game will come across. His grappling, his stand up, I literally have no idea.”
Theodorou ahead of the fight said: “I train real hard, and my record proves it. I mean, undefeated? I’ve never lost a round; I’ve never lost a fight. It’s not cocky; it’s just an accumulation of what I’ve done.
The episode will be shown locally on FX Australia at 4:30pm AEDT.
In the opening episode of the reality show last week, the Canadian team coached by Patrick Cote took a 1-0 lead as outspoken Kajan Johnson submitted Brendan O’Reilly in the first round
